Headquartered in the heart of San Francisco's SOMA District, SendMe Mobile is a well-funded mobile startup that offers direct to consumer mobile entertainment through three properties -- www.sendmemobile.com, www.solow.com, www.mbuzzy.com. As a successful venture-backed startup and the fastest growing player in the red hot, direct-to-consumer mobile entertainment space, SendMe Mobile develops and markets a great portfolio of fun products for cell phones on all the top mobile carriers - things like ringtones, interactive games, horoscopes, wallpapers, interactive games, etc. We currently have about 50 employees and a lively & fun work style.

POSITION SUMMARY

SendMe presents a great opportunity for a marketing campaign optimization specialist to make an immediate and measurable impact by applying his or her knowledge of landing page design, A/B and muti-variate testing methodologies, and campaign measurement and optimization. This person would be responsible for managing a comprehensive and coordinated testing & optimization program on an exciting portfolio of customer acquisition programs and marketing campaigns in the dynamic and fun mobile entertainment space. They will work closely with SendMe's marketing partner managers and SendMe's product management and technology teams to maximize the ROI of SendMe's already successful marketing campaigns. This is a high-profile role with the opportunity for bonus compensation if optimization efforts deliver results.

This position requires an organized and analytical person with a strong background in marketing campaign execution, testing & optimization. The ideal candidate should have experience working with web analytics software packages (e.g., Omniture, WebTrends, etc.), marketing campaign reporting tools, and dynamic optimization software tools (e.g., Offermatica, Optimost, etc.) This role will interface with many departments across the company (technology, product management, marketing, etc.) so good communication skills are required, as is the ability to quickly build good working relationships with others. The role also requires a considerable amount of analysis, so the ideal candidate will need to be analytical and quantitative.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the optimization of existing and new sign-up and purchase flows on web-based, mobile (WAP), and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with current optimization tool vendors and recommend new vendor relationships as needed to build our optimization tool-kit
  • Develop strategies and implement actions to increase the conversion rates through our various sign-up flows from our various marketing campaigns/partners
  • Work with others on the marketing team to secure creative assets & implement changes to landing pages for marketing campaigns
  • Provide regular communication to the management team on campaign status and analytics

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated success in prior campaign optimization roles
  • Previous experience using web optimization and tracking tools is a must. Previous experience with Omniture or Optimost a strong plus.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills is a must have. Ability to access data directly from a reporting DB (e..g, via SQL) a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required
