As a successful venture-backed startup and the fastest growing player in the red hot, direct-to-consumer mobile entertainment space, SendMe Mobile develops and markets a great portfolio of fun products for cell phones on all the top mobile carriers - things like ringtones, interactive games, horoscopes, wallpapers, interactive games, etc. We currently have about 50 employees and a lively & fun work style.
POSITION SUMMARY
SendMe presents a unique opportunity for a marketing professional to manage an exciting portfolio of customer acquisition programs and marketing campaigns in the dynamic and fun mobile entertainment space. The person will work closely with SendMe's marketing partners (direct affiliates, lead generation networks, direct marketing, direct response companies) to develop and build engaging and successful marketing campaigns targeted at customer acquisition. This is a high-profile role given the importance of successful partnership development in our business model.
This position requires an aggressive and performance-oriented person. The ideal candidate should have experience managing online marketing campaigns and working with lead generation networks & direct affiliates. There is an account management component in this role, which will require the candidate to have good communication skills, plus partner relationship & partner development experience. The role also requires a considerable amount of analysis, so the ideal candidate will need to be analytical and quantitative.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing marketing partnerships with direct affiliates, lead generation networks, and marketing partners
- Research & identify new marketing channels and new marketing partners for customer acquisition programs
- Develop strategies and implement actions to increase partner productivity and improve campaign performance
- Work with others on the marketing team to secure creative assets & develop online landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Provide regular communication to the management team on campaign status and analytics
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated success in prior marketing or account management roles
- Strong experience managing customer acquisition marketing campaigns, including experience working with direct affiliates and lead generation networks
- Strong experience in launching new marketing campaigns and/or customer acquisition programs
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
