Technical Production / Web Developer (HTML/CSS) – San Francisco, CA

SendMe Inc, the fastest growing direct to consumer mobile start-up in the US, is looking for an experienced web developer to play a key role in supporting UI enhancements and marketing efforts for our ever-expanding portfolio of products.
Web developers will work closely with the product and marketing teams to maintain and enhance our existing properties (SendMeMobile.com & SoLow.com) as well as contribute to development for emerging features and products, both on the Web and on handsets.
You will play a key role in on-going marketing & product support, including spearheading the translation of design requirements into living, breathing prototypes and weekly releases. Candidates should be technically savvy with experience in client-side web development and should be prepared to take a technical and functional leadership role in a fast-paced environment. We value interaction and feedback: web developers should be constantly engaged and interested in ways to improve the user experience – we see immersive web to mobile experiences as a key component of the success of our brands.
Responsibilities:
- Coding static HTML documents from Photoshop comps
- Rolling out multiple, concurrent changes to existing sites and skins
- Applying basic user interface design skills while implementing features
- Working with other UI design, engineering, and product management teams to implement features
- Debugging and bug fixing under tight deadlines
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of consumer-focused web development experience
- Expertise in hand-coding HTML (Transitional DTD) and CSS
- Successful track record working closely with design and marketing teams to create interactive web pages from mockups and wireframes
- Proven ability to code to web standards, including usability and accessibility (Section 508) standards
- Familiarity working with a source control system, such as CVS or VSS
- Cross-browser coding
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger product / engineering team
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
A plus to have experience with any of the following:

- JavaScript
- DOM
