Alter Bridge Biography

Alter Bridge released their first album in late 2004. The band consists of three former members of Creed (Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips), and Myles Kennedy, the lead vocalist from The Mayfield Four. The group took their name from a bridge in Michigan that is located on the notorious Alter Road. Although the band has a similar sound to Creed, Kennedy's wide vocal range voice adds a definite change to the band's musical sound.
